Northrop Grumman Signs Grand Sky Lease
The major aerospace and defense company plans to break ground on a facility in the new Grand Sky unmanned aerial systems tech park in September after signing a lease in April, North Dakota's U.S. senators announced. Northrop Grumman will be Grand Sky's anchor tenant, which officials hope will spur additional development in the park.

In 2013, North Dakota was the second largest crude oil-producing state in the nation and accounted for over 11.5% of total U.S. crude oil production; a 177% increase in production from 2010 to 2013 was primarily driven by horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing in the Bakken formation.
The Economic Development Administration (EDA) and the North Dakota Department of Commerce will be co-hosting a special roundtable discussion in Bismarck on June 23, 2015, from 2-5 PM at the North Dakota Department of Commerce in Bismarck. We will finish 1 hour before the EDND social kick-off starts at 6 PM at the Radisson.
The purpose of the event is to review how EDA’s resources could support North Dakota’s economic development priorities and to introduce EDA’s new Economic Development Representative for the State of North Dakota.
You will have a unique opportunity to discuss our state’s challenges and opportunities. The roundtable will be held at:

At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
